This children's story, El maestro Dositeo, tells the story of a very, very cultured man. So much so that each inhabitant of the kingdom came to him to ask the most difficult questions. Dositeo, responded to them in the form of a poem and transmitted a great reflection on life.

However, one fine day a child arrived with the simplest question that anyone can imagine and made Dositeo, finally, learn from someone else ... nothing more and nothing less than a child! Is a story about the wisdom of children that no child or adult should stop reading.

Dositheus, nicknamed the teacher, was the most cultured and wise man in the kingdom; For this reason, all the people went there looking for an answer and he, with his wise words, made everyone reflect on their concerns.

One day a man came in and asked:

"Master, light or shadow?"

And Dositeo answered:

Light is life.

The shadow is death.

There is no shadow without light.

No life without luck.

Dositeo went back to his reading as he always did and the man left there reflecting on those words.

Another day a young man came and asked him:

"Master, man or woman?"

Neither woman nor man

Neither weak nor strong.

The woman gives life

that is his great luck.

Dositeo went back to his reading as he always did and the young man left there reflecting on those words.

That same afternoon a woman approached him and asked:

"Master, heads or tails?"

The face is not better

nor worse the cross,

of darkness

light is born

Dositeo went back to his reading as he always did and the woman left there reflecting on her words.

One morning with a blue sky a boy came and asked him:

"Are you coming with me to play ball?"

Dositeo, upon hearing the infantile voice, looked at the child and did not think about it.

He left everything and with the child he played and, above all, he learned.

Children give great lessons.

So that your child can improve his reading comprehension, that is, learn to read by understanding what he reads, we suggest you ask these questions about this short story:

- What was the teacher's name?

- What did the teacher used to do all day?

- What did the boy ask you?
